We are family-owned and operated by David & Jennifer O'Brian of Cypress, Texas.

We will customize our menu to suit your needs and desires. Let us come to you for your special event.

Throughout the years, we have learned that consistency is key!

As a result, our small batch craft BBQ trailer focuses on making our food daily and always fresh.

"It has been a dream of mine since I was 13-14 years old to own and operate my very own BBQ joint. I found my inspiration in Joe's BBQ in my hometown of Alvin, Texas.

Humble Beginnings

Since he was 13 years old, David had a dream of running his very own BBQ joint. In 2019, David's dream got a kickstart when he began getting BBQ requests from neighbors near the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Before he knew it, his signature Texas BBQ dream was taking off. It was at this point that David knew his dream could become a reality.

Rise of the Trailer

After a lot of hard work - and a growing demand for his BBQ - David was able to acquire a BBQ trailer to continue growing Have Mercy BBQ. Now equipped with a BBQ joint on wheels, David takes great pride in serving real Texas BBQ to his Cypress, TX community every day.

Growing our BBQ Footprint

According to David, he is just getting started! Thanks to the support of his family, friends, and patrons, David has visions to create a brick-and-mortar Have Mercy BBQ location in the near future.

"To own and operate a brick and Mortar BBQ restaurant where people come to eat and enjoy the fellowship of our community is the ultimate goal for Have Mercy BBQ," says David.
